Agger nasi cells
The agger nasi cell is the most anterior cell in the ethmoidal complex. It is an important anatomical nasosinusal element, because it has participated in the pathogenesis of frontal and ethmoidal sinusitis. It plays an important role in surgical reference due to its narrow relationship with the adjacent structures to the nasal lateral wall, the frontal recess, frontal sinus, unciform process, papyraceous lamina, middle turbinate and lachrymal fossa.
